The Project

Rehab Select has commissioned me to write 38-and-counting 1000-word articles on various medical-related topics for their business blog. Their blog resource library helps improve their online visibility as well as answer many of their prospective patients’ questions.

The Process

Research:

The information for these medical articles must be confirmed by reputable clinical resources. This requires a fair amount of background research, using quality sources like Medline Plus and PubMed.

Writing:

I had to gather technical information and translate it into an approachable format for patients and their families. I also had to consider the voice of this business, which is informational yet somewhat casual and friendly. I wrote these articles using SEO best practices, formatting for online readability, and a call-to-action that refers readers back to Rehab Select.

The outcome

Rehab Select has achieved phenomenal SEO rankings with their blog and other resources. The articles I’ve written hold several #1 positions on Google for key terms, such as “physiatrist vs physical therapist,” “fracture orthopedic rehab,” and “how orthopedic rehabilitation therapy works.” They also show up on the first page of Google for dozens more key terms with articles I’ve written.
